Six Kite Suppliers Arrested in Rawalpindi Operation

RAWALPINDI, Jan 28: The Rawalpindi Police have arrested six kite suppliers and seized hundreds of kites and spools of string as part of an ongoing crackdown initiated by City Police Officer (CPO) Syed Khalid Mahmood Hamdani.

This operation was conducted in various areas within the jurisdictions of the Civil Lines, Pirwadhai, and Ganjmandi police stations, a police spokesperson announced on Wednesday.

Separate cases have been registered against the detained individuals, and investigations are currently underway.

The spokesperson stated that kite flying has been declared a non-bailable offense and warned that those involved in this activity, deemed both dangerous and often deadly, will not evade the law.
