SARGODHA, Feb 04: The Vice Chancellor of the University of Sargodha (UoS), Professor Dr. Qaisar Abbas, alongside Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Masood Sarwar Awan, inaugurated a newly built mosque and initiated a tree plantation drive at the Allama Iqbal Campus on Wednesday.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of deans, directors, faculty members, administrative officers, and a large number of students.
In his remarks, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas praised the campus administration, particularly Principal of the College of Engineering Dr. Malik Muneeb Abid and his team, for their hard work in providing new facilities and fostering a green environment.
Dr. Qaisar Abbas highlighted that the availability of modern amenities and the promotion of an eco-friendly environment greatly contribute to elevating educational standards and student wellbeing.
During the event, several saplings were planted as part of the University’s ongoing efforts to enhance greenery and promote environmental sustainability across all UoS campuses.
The administration also affirmed that the plantation campaign would continue consistently, ensuring a clean, green, and healthy educational setting for future generations.
