ISLAMABAD, Feb 03: Najaf Hameed, the brother of former DG ISI Faiz Hameed, has approached the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday in a bid to restore his bail in a fraud case.
Najaf Hameed is challenging the decision made by the Special Judge Central on January 24, which cancelled his bail in the FIA case. He argues that this decision should not be upheld legally.
The petition calls for the Special Judge Central’s decision to cancel his bail to be declared null and void, and seeks the restoration of his pre-arrest bail.
It is noteworthy that the Special Judge Central previously approved the FIA’s request to revoke Najaf Hameed’s bail.
