GUJRAT, Jan 30: On Friday, police arrested a man and confiscated a significant quantity of fireworks during a crackdown on the illegal sale of such items at Shaheen Chowk. This operation was conducted under the directives of the District Police Officer (DPO) of Gujrat.
The suspect, identified as Zakaullah from Nagriyanwala, was apprehended with boxes of firecrackers, sparklers, and other small explosive materials.
The DPO emphasized that stringent action will continue against those involved in the illegal fireworks trade to ensure public safety.
A case has been registered, and further investigations are currently underway.
