Free Eye Camp in Lal Garhi Supports Hundreds of Students

KOHAT, Jan 30: Al-Shifa Trust Eye Hospital organized a one-day free eye screening camp on Friday at Government High School and Government Primary School Lal Garhi.
The camp, staffed by experienced doctors and nursing personnel, offered free eye examinations to 630 students, as reported by official sources.
During the event, the students received complimentary eyeglasses and essential medicines to enhance their vision.
This initiative aimed to increase awareness about eye health among children and to ensure timely treatments to prevent visual impairments from affecting their educational progress.
All participating students benefited from these services.
The medical teams also identified 51 students needing further diagnosis and treatment.
These cases were referred to Al-Shifa Trust Eye Hospital for specialized care with modern facilities.
The organizers announced plans for future welfare camps to provide basic health services to students in underprivileged regions.
The local community, parents, and teachers praised the initiative, viewing it as a crucial step in protecting students’ health and supporting their educational pursuits.
