ISLAMABAD, February 4: Young international taekwondo athlete Syed Abu Huraira Shah recently met with the Chairman of the Pakistan Taekwondo Federation, Col. Waseem Ahmed Janjua (R), in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates.
Syed Abu Huraira Shah expressed his heartfelt congratulations to Col. Waseem Ahmed Janjua on his election as the Chairman of the Pakistan Taekwondo Federation. He attributed the sport’s organized and professional development in Pakistan to Col. Janjua’s leadership.
During Col. Waseem Ahmed Janjua’s tenure as president, athletes received significant support. Abu Huraira expressed hope that this commitment will persist under Janjua’s chairmanship, enhancing the sport’s promotion.
The young athlete credited Col. Janjua with successfully hosting international taekwondo championships in Pakistan, reflecting his dedication, vision, and leadership. These events have provided valuable exposure to Pakistani athletes, elevating the national taekwondo standards.
Abu Huraira also revealed plans for a major international taekwondo event in Pakistan, which he described as a crucial step for the sport and a means to showcase Pakistan positively on a global scale.
He expressed confidence that under Col. Janjua’s leadership, Pakistan’s taekwondo would continue to flourish, enabling athletes to achieve greater success internationally.
