ISLAMABAD, Feb 01: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, conducted a significant Zoom meeting to assess the law and order situation and security measures in the federal capital.
According to a police spokesperson, the meeting, held on Sunday, was attended by DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq, DIG Security Muhammad Atiq Tahir, AIG Operations Shoaib Masood, SSP Operations, SSP CTD, and all zonal SPs.

The meeting included detailed discussions on the current law and order situation, counter-terrorism measures, security of critical government and sensitive installations, along with ongoing search and combing operations throughout the city.
Emphasis was placed on enhancing police patrols to protect citizens’ lives and property. Strict legal action was also planned against those involved in kite flying and the manufacture and sale of chemical string.
IGP Rizvi directed all officers to intensify actions against criminal elements, adopting a zero-tolerance policy. He highlighted the need for effective strategies, quick responses, and people-friendly policing to maintain peace and order in the capital.
Rizvi reaffirmed that the Islamabad Police would utilize all available resources to ensure public safety and provide a secure environment for citizens.
