On January 31 in Dera Ismail Khan, Superintendent of Police (SP) Paharpur Division, Muhammad Iqbal Baloch, conducted a review of the security arrangements along the China–Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) M-14 route. This visit aimed to assess the law and order situation as well as the effectiveness of ongoing policing strategies.
Accompanying him were SDPO Pinyala Alamgir Khan, along with Station House Officers (SHOs) Faheem Mumtaz Khan from Yarik and Attaullah Khan from Panyala. During the visit, police officials provided updates on the current security status, regular patrolling activities, and the measures in place by the police stations located along the route. Detailed plans for deployment and surveillance of sensitive areas were also shared.
SP Muhammad Iqbal Baloch instructed the SDPO and SHOs to enhance the security arrangements and take decisive actions against criminal elements in the surrounding areas. He emphasized the importance of proactive policing to prevent any incidents and maintaining peace and stability along this critical corridor.
The SP highlighted that protecting national infrastructure and ensuring public safety are the district police’s top priorities. He assured that strict vigilance and coordinated efforts would persist to counter any potential security threats.
