KOHAT, January 29: The Kohat district administration has achieved significant progress in its ongoing anti-polio campaign, decreasing the number of low-performing Union Councils (UCs) from 26 to only five. Additionally, there has been a notable decline in the number of missed child vaccination cases.
Official sources have indicated that the overall performance in 33 percent of the district’s union councils has shown considerable improvement.
This progress was discussed during a meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Nawaz Wazir, focused on the anti-polio campaign scheduled from February 2 to 7.
The meeting highlighted the importance of effective field team monitoring, enhanced vaccination coverage, and timely data reporting.
