DUBAI, Jan 29: President Asif Ali Zardari concluded his four-day official visit to the United Arab Emirates, aimed at enhancing bilateral ties and economic collaboration, and has now returned to Pakistan.
President Zardari was bid farewell at Dubai Airport by UAE Minister of State Abdul Rahman bin Mohammed Al Owais, along with Pakistan’s Ambassador to the UAE, the UAE’s Ambassador to Pakistan, and the Consul General of Pakistan in Dubai.
During the visit, President Zardari engaged in significant discussions with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The dialogues centered around strengthening bilateral relations, expanding economic partnerships, and exploring new avenues for deeper cooperation.
Both sides also shared their perspectives on advancing defence and security cooperation, as well as fostering stronger people-to-people connections, underscoring the enduring fraternal relations between Pakistan and the UAE.
