A delegation of journalists from various districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa visited Islamabad on Thursday to tour the national news agency. This visit, organized by the NGO Individualland, aimed to enhance coordination between national institutions and journalists while also raising awareness about media-related information.

During the visit, Executive Director of News, Muhammad Usman Khan Kakar, briefed the delegation on the agency’s history, its role in shaping national narratives, and the operations of various departments. The provision of news services in languages such as English, Urdu, Arabic, Chinese, Pashto, Seraiki, Balochi, and Brahui was also discussed.
Director of Training, Kashif Rizvi, highlighted the benefits of learning multiple languages, while Arif Hussain Lashari, In-charge of Digital and Social Media, emphasized the significance and advantages of digital platforms in today’s world. The agency’s achievements in the digital sphere were also shared.

The delegates were welcomed by Muhammad Usman Khan and Director of Urdu News Service, Abdul Hameed Tabassum, who fielded their questions. The group toured various services, the data center, and other sections of the agency, expressing appreciation for its role in promoting the national narrative.
Notable attendees included Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Public Relations Officer Fazlur Rehman, Individualland Program Officer Saifullah Khoso, and Senior Trainer Mashhood Ali.
